eHU CH of GOD eW(J eHU CH of GOD eW(J LOS ANGELES-LONG BEACH EDITION Volume 4 Number 6 June 1964 FINAL EDITION by James F. Kunz With emotions akin to the old soldier who hears taps for the last time the Los Angeles-Long Beach Churches present the final edition of their publi cation. After thirty-six months of uninterrupted service our church newspaper is to become history. During the time of its service we feel it has done its part in making the members scattered through a greater part of the vast, sprawling Los Angeles metropolitan complex feel like members of a family God's family. Throughyour efforts, your toil, your contributions and prayers it has reflected the growth and pulsating life ofthe two churches. It has reflected your personality and your character -it has been the sum total of what you have produced. In its place will be a larger regional paper c over i ng news of all the churches in the California, Arizona, Nevada area. It will be edited from headquarters in Pasadena. There are seven church districts in the United States (see map published in your Good News magazine). Each will have a district newspaper similar to the one for this area. Details will be announced later. It is interesting to note that the final edition is also the third anniversary of publication (thirty-six months -three 12's) -a fi t t i ng finale of service. As the final curtain goes down on our present paper we lookforward to doing our part in contributing to the new expanded edition designed to serve and keep us in touch with an VENGEANCE IS MINE .... ! by James F. Since Mr. Leroy Neff announced, "We are going to have a newspaper !" there have been many, many changes in our respective lives and Church areas, as three year s raced by seemingly as a tick of the clock!
